| In photography relevance is a key concept that is overlooked by many photographers. I have a personal philosophy that clouds are the most important subject in any photograph. They are often times the most difficult subject to expose, however there is no other subject that sums up your relevance better than a cloud formation. Clouds are often the mediators in photography that create almost a buffer zone between the foreground and backround subjects. Clouds contain the most color compared to any other, clouds (when used right) can perfectly frame a photo, and most importantly clouds create the depth and dramatic painting of a scene. Remember, don't forget your clouds! |
